That quote struck me as well...news that the Iranian government closed three newspapers on Tuesday makes an interesting contrast. We are lucky to have social media but with an abundance of information, it's easy to find only the information you seek (or have it find you). I think that underscores the importance of newspapers post-Web 2.0.
